He said he was a simple, average, southern man. He was divorced with two kids that he loved dearly. And every time he spoke of them it was confirmed in his eyes and deep voice. She was from the north---a big city girl. They fell in love. His kids were great, his family was wonderful and accepting, he was a loving, laid-back, gentle bear, so they got married. Then came the complex charting and navigating of the child support arena; mountains of legal documentation and other paperwork; stage managing a self-centered bio-mom and daily dealing with a live-in, lovable, pain-in-the-ass boy. This is where the real story begins.
